The subsidy “EAG-Investment Subsidies” allows you to receive investment subsidies if you build or expand a new PV system and at the same time create an electricity storage system. Here, the amount of the subsidies is calculated by a specific subsidy rate. The decisive factors for the amount of the subsidy are in the case of
PV systems the peak output in kWp and for electricity storage the capacity in kWh, i.e. €/kWp and €/kWh.
This promotion is applicable for
and the point of delivery are available.
This funding program is divided into four categories. The decisive factor for these categories is the peak power of the photovoltaic system.
The 4 categories and their maximum subsidy rates are:
The subsidy rate for electricity storage is set at €200/kWh. However, this subsidy is only possible up to a maximum capacity of 50 kWh. Funding for electricity storage is only possible in combination with a PV system, but not as a stand-alone measure.
Currently, the funding volume for categories B, C and D is 10 million euros each. An increase of these funding pots as in the 1st Call 2022 is possible but not yet confirmed by the official side.
In calendar year 2022, two more funding calls will take place for this investment grant for photovoltaics and electricity storage in categories B, C and D.
The applications can be submitted to these funding calls. After the start of the ticket draw, it is possible to complete the submission of the application from the following day. For this completion of the application a time limit of one week is set.
